A non-governmental, non-profit, and independent organization working to advance awareness of human rights, the rule of law, the principles of democracy, and international human rights standards across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
Dabin Organization for Democratic Development and Human Rights is a non-governmental, civil, non-profit, and independent institution. We work to promote awareness of human rights, the rule of law, and the principles of democracy in line with international human rights standards.
Established in 2017 and registered in both the Kurdistan Region (№ 3429-L) and the Federal Government of Iraq (№ 1C2110013), we have spent nearly a decade defending labor rights, advancing women's participation in public life, and providing humanitarian assistance to displaced and vulnerable communities.
From courtrooms to camps, from parliaments to villages, our work has reached thousands across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
Promoting and supporting labor law in the Kurdistan Region — protecting workers in the private sector and informal economy.
Building a supportive environment for women in politics, decision-making, and the workplace, across nearly a decade of focused programs.
Training citizens, monitoring institutions, and publishing studies on democracy, human rights, and public freedoms.
Delivering essential support — food, clothing, shelter — to displaced families and communities affected by crisis.
Partner, support, or share our work. The future of rights is built by people who refuse to look away.
